On the 5th of September, I had the privilege of attending the 2025 Western Sydney Tourism Awards at the Liverpool Catholic Club. It was a night dedicated to recognising the trailblazers of our region's growing visitor economy. These awards shine a spotlight on the individuals, businesses, and organisations that are shaping Western and Southwest Sydney into a destination in its own right. From hotels and heritage tours to music, arts, and local tourism operators, this event celebrates the people who are putting our region on the map. Proudly led by the Western Sydney Tourism Taskforce NSW, this industry body is helping unite tourism operators and advocates, working towards sustainable growth ahead of the 2026 opening of the Western Sydney International Airport. Congratulations to all award recipients, you are the heart of our region's tourism story.
