The seat of Leppington sits on the land of the Darug and Tharawal nations.

Leppington is a dynamic community in Sydney’s rapidly growing Southwest. It is home to many young families establishing themselves and raising children. Leppington boasts a wonderfully diverse and multicultural collection of people, from many walks of life, faiths and backgrounds.

In recognition of our community’s growing population, the electoral district of Leppington was established and contested for the first time at the 2023 New South Wales State Election. 

The Electoral District of Leppington includes the suburbs of Austral, Carnes Hill, Catherine Field, Cecil Park, Denham Court, Eagle Vale, Eschol Park, Hinchinbrook, Horningsea Park, Hoxton Park, Kearns, Kemps Creek, Leppington, Middleton Grange, Prestons, Raby, Rossmore, Varroville, and West Hoxton.
