On the 29 of August, I had the pleasure of attending the Southern District Soccer Football Association 80th anniversary. The SDFA aims to develop life-long participants in football by creating inclusive, enjoyable, and aspirational experiences for every player. They strive to ignite passion for the game and build strong, lasting relationships within the football community. Celebrating 80 years is a remarkable achievement, a testament to the enduring spirit and commitment of everyone involved, from players and coaches to volunteers and supporters. I would like to thank President Andy Favalaro, Secretary Gino Marra and the entire committee for always supporting our local athletes. Particularly the clubs in my electorate ‑ Kemps Creek United, Austral, Liverpool City Robins and Leppington Lions. Congratulations on this significant occasion. The associations unwavering support and dedication have created an environment where athletes can thrive. This milestone not only reflects everyone's hard work but also the strength of a community committed to empowering every athlete to perform at their best.
