Club Austral recently unveiled its brand-new Eagle's Nest, and I had the privilege of cutting the ribbon on 10 April to mark the official opening. This exciting addition offers a fresh, welcoming space for local families to gather, relax, and spend time together. The new playground is a standout feature, giving kids plenty to enjoy while parents can unwind nearby. I even gave the slide a go myself. With views over the lawn bowls and comfortable outdoor seating, it's an ideal spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a drink after work. The club has also upgraded its woodfired pizza oven, and as someone who takes pizza seriously, I can say it delivers. Alongside a refreshed menu featuring pub favourites and plant-based options, there's something for everyone. It's a fantastic new chapter for Club Austral and a great reason for the community to drop in and experience it. So if you're in the area, I highly recommend a visit to the bowlo.
