It was great to join the Eschol Park Football Club community for the annual Pink & Blue Day, a fantastic event that brings people together to support those affected by breast and prostate cancer. Since 2013, this event has become a much-loved tradition, uniting the Macarthur Football Association through football, family activities, raffles and fundraising. This year, the community once again showed its incredible generosity, raising $28,321 to support the fight against cancer. Community events like this are about far more than fundraising. They raise awareness, provide hope to families facing cancer and demonstrate the strength of a community that comes together for an important cause. Despite the wet weather, players, families, supporters and volunteers turned out in force, reflecting the generosity and spirit that make our local sporting clubs so special. Congratulations to everyone involved in another successful Pink & Blue Day, and thank you to the organisers, volunteers and supporters who continue to make such a meaningful difference each year.
