Though the Liverpool Powerhouse sits just beyond my electorate's borders, I want to take a moment to honour the incredible artistic talent that continues to shine across our region. The 27th Annual Liverpool Art Society Exhibition was a celebration of creativity, hosted throughout September at the Powerhouse. From emerging young artists to seasoned creatives, the exhibition brought together a rich array of works that speak to the depth and diversity of artistic expression in Southwest Sydney. I'd especially like to congratulate the winners of the Mixed Media 2D category, which I was proud to sponsor. Mariam Abbas, Rebecca Anne Brady, and Margaret Tra, each offered moving and thought-provoking pieces that reflect the personal, the cultural, and the universal. Their works remind us that art can hold memory, challenge perception, and offer space for healing. Congratulations to all the exhibitors and entrants. Your work is a testament to the talent, imagination, and resilience of our community. And to the Liverpool Art Society, thank you for making it all possible.
