It was an absolute joy to join our Hindu community in celebrating this year's Ganesh festivals, which so beautifully showcased both faith and culture. On 27 August, IĀ attended the United Multicultural Association's 7th Annual Ganesha Puja in Leppington. It was a fantastic day filled with children's cultural activities, and I was delighted to present trophies to the winners. Thank you to Amiya and the UMAA team for the effort and energy you put into making this celebration so meaningful for families and young people. Just a few days later, on 30 and 31 August, I had the privilege of joining the Premier and Member for Liverpool at the 30th Annual Ganeshotsav, hosted by Friends of India Australia. This was an extraordinary gathering, rich with music, dance, colour, and tradition, reminding us that Ganesh Chaturthi is not only a religious festival but also a celebration of community and shared values. Thank you to both UMAA and Friends of India for keeping these traditions alive and for welcoming us so warmly.
