I congratulate Fabian Aldridge, a stand‑out student athlete from Denham Court Public School who delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 State championships over the King's Birthday long weekend. Fabian represented the Southern Districts Rugby Club and showcased immense grit, talent and determination. He played a gruelling nine games across three days in Tuncurry and played an instrumental role in helping his team secure the prestigious State championship title. Fabian is a truly accomplished and versatile athlete. His exceptional dedication, discipline and natural skill set in both rugby union and rugby league have made him an absolute stand-out among his peers. The excitement does not stop there for Fabian. He is back in action in Parkes, where he will represent Sydney South West at the upcoming State rugby league championships. I am sure his entire school community and family are as incredibly proud of his achievements and relentless commitment to excellence both on and off the field as I am.
