On Saturday 11 October, I had the pleasure of attending the opening ceremony of the Rey Corporate Group Football Carnival at Club Marconi in Bossley Park. Held over two days, this year's event was particularly meaningful as it marked the 10th anniversary of Beni FC. Founded in 2015, Beni Football Club has grown into one of the most prominent Nepalese community-based football clubs in New South Wales. With a proud record of success, the club has consistently excelled in Nepali tournaments across Australia, becoming a strong symbol of unity and sporting excellence for the Nepali Australian community. The carnival was a fantastic celebration of football, culture, and connection, bringing together communities from across the country. Beyond the trophies and titles, Beni FC represents the power of sport to bring people together, foster community pride, and create a sense of belonging. Congratulations to President Suraj, Pradeep, all the players and supporters of Beni FC on this incredible milestone.
